In case you've been living under a rock, 2013 is being marked as the year of the return, at least music wise & to me.
The world went into a frenzy when Beyoncé was announced the 2013 Super Bowl performer. And with her return, I'm sure there's an album following. As well, J. Cole is set to be releasing his sophomore album, Born Sinner, that has been pushed back from his January 28th, also his birthday, release date. I'm excited for the return of both seeing as neither Beyoncé or J. Cole has released an album since 2011.
I'm probably more thrilled about the two comebacks that were announced late last week. Beyoncé took to Facebook to announce that after 8 years, Destiny's Child will be releasing new material! I'm excited, I loved Destiny's Child. The album, Love Songs, is set to release January 29 and can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.com. As well, you can hear the only brand new song off of the album, titled Nuclear, over at Complex now!
As well, Justin Timberlake released a video announcing his return and his web site had a countdown that ended midnight on January 13th! His first single, after 7 years, off of The 20/20 Experience. is titled "Suit & Tie" and features Jay-Z. It can be available for download on iTunes today!
