I'm here again to bring you this year's best and worst dressed of the 2013 Emmy Awards that was held yesterday at the Nokia Theatre. There are some repeats from last year's list.
Here's my list of the best and worst dressed Emmy attendees:
The Best
House of Cards' Kate Mara looked amazing last night in this white ensemble. It was a win last night for House of Cards, the Netflix series which my boyfriend and I are addicted to; from Kate Mara looking amazing to director David Fincher winning the award for Best Director of a Drama Series.
ET's Rocsi Diaz looked killer in this cobalt blue dress. The construction is impeccable. Even though I haven't been a fan of Rocsi since her BET's 106 & Park days, this dress allowed me to put my dislike aside.
Modern Family's Julia Bowen looked stunning in this light pink dress. Seems like her and Rocsi took a page out of each other's book with these heavy ruffled bottoms.
Downtown Abbey's Michelle Dockery turned it around this year from last year's worst dressed list. I love the contrasting color and the hint of gems in her clutch and shoes. I'd prefer if the back didn't have the huge bow, but nonetheless I loved this look.
The Worst
Girls' Lena Dunham makes our list again for worst dressed. This dress does nothing for her figure. There's way too much fabric at the bottom and I hate that she didn't opt for any jewelry. For some reason, I can see Kerry Washington in this dress and owning it! (That could be my bias talking though)
Mad Men's Jessica Pare went from our best dressed last year, to the worst dressed. It looks like her boobs deflated and it was too late to alter the dress. This dress would've looked sooo much better without the extra fabric in her chest area.
Mad Men's Zosia Mamet opted to put her chest on display and not in a good way! This leather/floral mix is a disaster. Without the mesh/leather bib going on, this dress would've been beautiful.
House of Cards' Sandrine Holt looks like the bottom half of her dress got caught in a paper shredder. If the top was a bodice fit, it might have looked a little better.
The Best & Worst Dressed Goes To....
Scandal's Kerry Washington won in this blush toned gown, even if she didn't win last night. Sometimes I think I'm biased because I just feel like Kerry can do no wrong. However, it's proven she can't do any wrong! Which is probably why People magazine recently named her as the Best Dressed Woman in the WORLD!
American Horror Story's Lily Rabe looked dreadful in this poorly constructed dress. My boyfriend could do a better job with the construction of this dress and he doesn't even know how to sew a button on. The color of the dress paired with the dark lipstick washes her out. It was extremely hard picking the worst dressed, but to me there's nothing she can do to alter this bad outfit choice.

I definitely agree with this entire list! HATED Lena Dunham's outfit, adored Kate Mara's look.
