For the last two years, I've spent NYE with hunny. In 2011, we spent it in Chicago which was lots of fun and last year we spent it with friends in the city. This year, I'm not certain how we'll be spending NYE, but I am certain I'll be doing it in an amazing dress!
Here's an outfit idea for you and your hunny:
You can never, ever, ever go wrong with a little black dress. Bring sparkle to the LBD with gorgeous jewelry like the bracelet above. Opt for a high bun or 40's hairstyle with a red lip to stand out. Keep the LBD classic with pointed heels compared to a platform heel. Spray on some perfume, grab your clutch, a bottle of wine and celebrate!
One of these days, I'm going to get my hunny to step out on NYE with a suit on and when I do, I'll suggest he wears something like the outfit above. A great gray suit doesn't seem so formal or business like, especially when you add a bow tie. Paired with a nice pair of wingtip oxfords and he's good to go. Don't forget the watch, so you'll be able to share that New Years kiss at the right time!
