June and July Faves.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I'm in the process of moving back home and unpacking. I never realized how much stuff I accumulated over the four years of being away at college. Here's my favorite purchases from June and July!

Top left to bottom right: Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Thrifted scarf, Thrifted shorts, Forever21 romper and American Apparel High-Waist Swim Brief.

1. Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie -- Whenever I wear my hair in its natural and curly state this is a go to for my twist and Bantu-knot outs. This stuff defines my curls and it smells GREAT! I could use it just for the smell along. Plus it's an inexpensive product to use in comparison to other products used for naturalistas. It's only $9.99 and can be found at your local Walgreen's or Target. Plus it's all organic!

2. Thrifted scarf -- I got this thrifted scarf from a Value World trip with my mommy. It was only $4.50 and the pattern and color palette is just beautiful to me! I actually wore it the other day to lunch with my dad and a movie date with my boyfriend. Michigan weather has been bi-polar again. \:

3. Thrifted shorts -- I got these shorts the same time I got the scarf. Love this print as well. I plan on wearing them this Friday to the Robin Thicke, Melanie Fiona, and Musiq Soulchild concert (mentioned here) with my mom. They were only about $3. I need to find my way around thrift stores back home again. I've grown accustomed to my options at school.

4. Forever21 Romper -- I love this romper. I've failed in wearing it only once this summer, which was seen in my July post, "Top-Knot Rider." I'll probably get one or two more wears out of it before fall kicks in, which I'm so excited about! Fall is probably my favorite season, or at least tied with summer.

5. American Apparel Nylon Tricot High-Waist Swim Brief -- These old fashion bottoms were on sale on American Apparel's website and I ended up finding a promo code online. Double bonus! I wish I would've bought these for my cruise back in May. I'm hoping to hit a beach or waterpark before summer is over with and wear them. If not, Summer 2013 will be their premiere season.

As well, I've started #SundayStylepiration on my Instagram. This Sunday's style inspiration was found in the September Issue of ELLE and is Solange for Madewell.
