As you all know, unless you're living under a rock, New York Fashion Week is almost among us. NYFW officially kicks off September 6, with runway collections going until September 13. There is however one showing today by Joseph Abboud & the 9th Annual Style Awards. Runway shows includes collections from, but not limited to: BCBGMAXAZRIA, Rebecca Minkoff, Nicole Miller, Charlotte Ronson, Jill Stuart, Diane Von Furstenberg, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, and Rachel Zoe.
If you have the honor of attending NYFW, lucky you! I would kill just to be in New York during the time. No admittance to the shows needed. Although of course if an invitation was given it would be GRACIOUSLY accepted! I'm giving myself until I'm 30 to attend NYFW at least once. I'm 22 now, so I'm hoping it's more than once, but I can't complain if it happens just once.
However, if you're like me and can't afford the trip to NYFW, there is Fashion's Night Out! Fashion's Night Out was created in 2009 to celebrate fashion and put the fun back in shopping. FNO is not only for NYC lurkers, but is global & digital! I'll be participating in FNO this year with my close friend, B. I can't wait, I've been planning my outfit in my head since she texted me about it 5 days ago!
