My Jordan Year Celebration.

This post is LONGGGG overdue. I've been busy with work and moving into a new place with my boyfriend (dets in the next post). Last month I celebrated my 23rd birthday [#JordanYear]. My birthday was Friday, February 22 and I celebrated with close friends and my boyfriend.

I celebrated at a new club in Novi, MI. Besides issues with management/party promoters, I enjoyed myself especially cause I was surrounded by such great people. I didn't know how I was going to be celebrating until two days before. And even the day after my birthday, I still didn't know how I would be celebrating for the weekend. My boyfriend had a total weekend getaway planned for us and all I was told was to pack my bags for two days.

Birthday night attire. Dress and accessories(besides watch)- Forever21. Heels- Jeffrey Campbell. Watch- Guess.

Saturday morning came and we were supposed to leave at 11a.m. Dealing with me, hunger, and forgetting my ID and credit cards at home, we didn't get on the road until 1 o'clock. I sat anxiously in the passenger seat as we headed to nowhereville, which turned out to be one of my favorite cities, CHICAGO!

MacBook + 4 Hour Drive.

Car ride attire. Pants: Corduroy pants & four finger rings- H&M. Shirt, necklace, & bracelet- Forever21. Shoes- Bakers. Watch- Guess.

We finally got settled in our hotel and relaxed for a bit before I was told to get dressed and we had to leave by 7. I decided on a grunge/rocker look.

Concert attire. Jacket- Wet Seal. Combat boots- Army Surplus store. Jeans- Levi's. Necklace- Macy's. Shirt, bracelet, & ring- Forever21. Watch- Guess.

When we got to our destination ):

He bought me tickets to see Solange perform, which was the reason behind our trip to Chicago. And you know how much I love her! He was pissed off she cancelled, as was I, but we made fun of the rest of the time we were there. Whenever she reschedules will be the perfect reason to go back to Chi-Town! [Just found out she'll performing on April 15!]
