Beauty Pick Up: The Haul.

During my lunch break at work or after work I find myself in the shopping center near my job. Always going for one thing and leaving out with twenty things. This past week or two hasn't been any different. I landed myself in an unplanned beauty haul. Last week I probably spent 40 minutes or more in ULTA. The great thing about them is that they ALWAYS have coupons or really great deals going on.

Here's the latest from my recent beauty haul:

ULTA Baked Bronzer
I purchased this by accident. I had placed it in my bag at ULTA and forgot it was in there until I got home and dumped everything out. It goes great paired with the other bronzer below. Gives me a glow in this cold, harsh winter. --Buy it.

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Sun Stones
I'm still on the fence about this bronzer. It just seems to give me a shimmer instead of a glow. I've had to pair it with the above bronzer from ULTA to get a feel that isn't glittery-like. My line sister uses the Physicians Formula brand, but in different bronzer so I may give that one try. --Buy it.

L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup Foundation in Soft Sable & Cocoa
I have been looking for a drugstore foundation for some time now. I usually use MAC foundation, but wanted to try something different and more cost efficient. That's when I got to researching reviews online and came across this foundation. A lot of great reviews. I wasn't able to decide which shade to get as they seemed pretty close in store. Trying them on at home, under the bathroom light they're still pretty similar. I decided to mix them and came up with the perfect color. It gives good coverage without feeling oily or cakey. --Buy it.

Christian Dior Miss Dior Perfume
This isn't a purchase I made personally, but one of the things my boyfriend got me for my 24th birthday last weekend (post coming soon). I've loved this smell for like a year or two now and finally got around to getting a bottle. This seriously smells like heaven in a bottle. Great smell for the coming warm season. Besides the great smell, the bottle is beautiful with houndstooth detailing on the bottom. --Buy it.

NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Merengue
I picked this up at Target while browsing for hair color (Target strikes again). Mia Ray had posted about this gloss months ago. Decided to give it a try after I fell in love with the Sephora Always Red Lip Stain she had posted before. This is a great pink color and I've worn it daily since purchasing it. I've paired it with MAC's RiRi Boy and it goes perfectly together. --Buy it.

Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleaning System
I found out about this facial cleanser from my favorite blogger, Mia Ray, when did a post on the Clarisonic Mia. She had mentioned the Olay Pro-X as a less expensive alternative. While browsing a local Kmart that's closing with my boyfriend, I stumbled upon this cleanser. It was regularly $29.99 with 30% off - plus I had $20 in Sears/Kmart Reward Points. So far I've used it at least five times and it's great! Walmart currently has it on sale for $22. --Buy it.

MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Cyber
I've been wanting to purchase a dark lipstick for months now. Probably longer. When I'm purchasing something I dig way into researching, especially with lipsticks wanting to see it on different skin complexions. I even went so far as searching "#maccyber" on Instagram and got some good results. So I decided to go ahead and order it online and I'm starting to think maybe I shouldn't have. I received it in the mail yesterday and I'm iffy about it. As my boyfriend would say when I asked him about it, "it's different." I probably just have to get used to wearing a dark lip and pair it with the right outfit. --Buy it.
