The most anticipated night of Hollywood took place last night,
The Oscars. Guests arrived to Dolby Theatre in style, despite the rain that drenched the red carpet.
Here’s my list of this year’s best and worst dressed Oscar attendees:
The Best
Lupita Nyong’O was the belle of the ball last night in this gorgeous Nairobi blue
Prada gown. Social media was raving over her and calling her Cinderella. Her win last night was probably the most anticipated win of the 2014 Oscars.
Angelina Jolie sparkled last night in this
Elie Saab Haute Couture gown. Her and Brad always look good together on the red carpet.
Matthew McConaughey was a lucky man last night. From winning the Oscar for Best Actor to his wife,
Camilla Alves, looking breathtaking in this
Gabriela Cadena gown.
Slay,
Kate Hudson, slay! Kate looked amazing in this
Atelier Versace gown. If you think this dress looks amazing from the front, you should see it from the
back!
Sandra Bullock looked stunning to me in this deep navy blue
Alexander McQueen gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
The Worst
Who let
Whoopi Goldberg out the house in this? I hope this wasn’t the work of a stylist. And Whoopi, why did you feel the need to pull your dress up?!
Liza Minnelli looks like she’s trying to go to bed in style than attend the Oscars. Then there's those black flats she has on.
Another bump gone wrong.
Elsa Pataky looked ready to pop in this
Elie Saab gown. The fit was entirely too wrong for her pregnant figure. The dress would’ve been better if it was fitted at the bust and flowed out.
You know how I said
Kerry Washington can do no wrong... Well, this was wrong. You all know I’m Kerry biased, but this
Jason Wu dress did nothing for me or her. The fabric of this dress is one that wrinkles easily, as you can see. However, she did look glowing; pregnancy has been her friend. I could see this dress more for maternity pictures than award season.
Toooo much is going on with
Anna Kendrick’s J. Mendel dress. Not a cohesive dress. Looks like three or four different concepts coming to gather poorly. The
back of her dress was the only good thing.
